Pain You Get From Endo In The Rectum, What Do Yall Do?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do yall let this pain pass, take meds for it, or what? Ive been hurting all afternoon and have taken meds and now laying on a heating pad. But like my butt bone area hurts. Ive had pain here before but it happened before my first surgery & i have had two now.

I learned the rectal pain is caused by the sacral muscles needing to be massaged. I go to pelvic floor PT. I mentioned that pain. My PT massaged the area, and the pain resolved.

It's different when we have rectal endo and it's in the cul-de-sac. EXCISION took care of that pain.

Okay in my last surgery i apparently had no lesions there in my rectum but in my first i did. I do a lot of pelvic floor exercises with pilates but sometimes the pain is overwhelming.
