I was wondering if anyone takes any suppliments, herbal or vitamins, that they feel helps mitigate their pain or endo symptoms. I’m using magnesium and Pycnogenol, but have been looking into Milk Thistle. What works for you all?
I used milk thistle at times, among other natural supplements. It took some tries to find what helped when. Of course they work for some people and not others...just like everything really. I can tell… read more
If so, do you think 1 condition can flare up the other and ideas of causes and/or best ways to manage flare-ups and symptoms?
I have both. And yes I do believe the flare ups overlap/combine.
I just had sex for the third time ever but for the second and third time, I felt a sharp pain shoot from my butt and lower back. I didn’t feel the pain in my lower abdomen though. The pain was worse off when doing the doggy style. Is this normal during the first times you have sex or I actually have endometriosis.
I have had a laparoscopy and I feel the same way. Doggy Style is a hell no because it hurts so badly. The only way I can do it without pain is on my back and I have to take it slow at first no matter… read more
I am overcome with crippling fatigue, a constant headache, constant back ache, brain fog, and intermittent pelvic pain. The only time I feel okay is about 3 miles into my runs. I only find relief from my symptoms when I run.
I'm currently gluten free, managing my calories to be between 1600 and 2000 a day, exercising daily by running 45 miles a week, and taking norethindrone and supplements. Still, I spend most of every day in bed and I'm concerned about my ability to start a job. I feel… read more
2 things helped my fatigue a lot: 1) iron infusion - often people with endo are deficient and dont absorb iron supplements so get it checked and make sure ferritin is at least 50!
2) healing my gut… read more

i’ve been taking Visanne for like 6-7months already and i told my doctor that i wanted to stop cuz im having vaginal dryness and low libido and its kinda make me depress. I decided to stop after end of this month but like recently i got my libido back. and surprisingly the vaginal dryness isn’t that bad anymore! and i haven’t got my period in like 4 months but now i got a little bit of spotting out of no where. Is it something to worry abt??
Visanne actually works like that. While you are on medication you will get less or no period. Once you are off the medication you will get your period after like 10-15 days so I don't think there is… read more
I have been taking Visanne for 5 weeks now. My doctor said I would not get periods so I was not worried when my period did not come last month ( I always had regular menstruation).
Today, I had light spotting. I'm worried now. Did you experience this too?

Hey! I've been on the depo injection for close to a year now, my reason for taking it is because my doctor said it will reduce growth and prevent future growth from happening.
I've recently been told by other women with endo that this is just not true, can anyone help advise? I feel SO let down and lied to by my doctor if that's the case, especially because it's making me bleed for months on end which has made me poorly.
Why's it so difficult to get help!! Infuriating to say the least

I was reading a list online and it suggested Vitamin C, omega 3 -fatty acids, L Carntine and Calcium D Glucerate. I have never taken any of these but I sometimes take iron and cranberry pills. Any recomendations of vitamins and/or brands?
I've spent so much money on vitamins and supplements over the years I totally understand your question. Keep in mind that my endo is pretty severe, and many of the things I'm on or have been on are… read more
