Does Anyone Know Of Any Online Menopause Support Groups?

It has been quite some time, i hope everyone is hanging in there. I am having extreme diffuculties with medical menopause two years after my surgries, the hot flashes are still intense, daily crying spells, rollercoaster mood swings. It is hard to talk about this with others, that have not been through endo, pre-cancer, etc. I cannot take horomone replacement therapy and working full time is exhausting, try to keep up with Meditation, yoga for self care, but lately im just blah. I could really… read more

I don't know of any and would love one. I didn't go through medical menopause. I was on a continuous BCP from 2005 to 2019. It didn't work.
What's crazy is I'd gone through menopause at the time of excision and had no idea. The pill must have prevented symptoms. It was weird. I was diagnosed with adenomyosis November 1, 2021. I was told to not have a hysterectomy. Too dangerous.

What I suggest is going to Stuff That Works. There are tons of support groups there. You know what? I'll be back. I'm going to go look. And I am so sorry you're going through this. Endo is the WORST. 1 in 5 has it. Not 1 in 10.

If you're on FB, I suggest going to the group Endoville. My great friend runs it. It's amazing! I have an endo support group as well called Endometriosis Support Community.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member, I reread your story. I remember now why you had your hysterectomy.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member, adenomyosis is awful also! Is that why you had a hysterectomy?

Thank you! It's not fun!

Go to StuffThatWorks.health. in their search engine, type in Menopause. I found a whole group. They are going to ask you about 70 questions. Be prepared. There are two endocrinologists monitoring the group.

My name is Chaya Miri in the group. That's my name. I was hacked so had to create another account and this account was also affected. Oh well!
