I experienced continuous bleeding after I had a Laparotomy and I was on and still on Visanne. I was also worried for a while because it wouldn't stop. It has eventually stopped now, although I still spot now and then. I hope that helps.

I would advise to ask your doctor if you feel worried, just to be sure and 100% comfortable.

Bleeding lasted quite long. I don't remember if it was as long as a year. Perhaps see the doc to relax your mind a bit. Blessings

Hi Sally. Thanks so much your response! May I ask how long did the bleeding issue last for for you? I have been dealing with this vaginal bleeding for a year almost and not getting much solution..so getting very frustrated.
