Are you using pads or liners by any chance? I used to get them all the time when I was, but when I switched to a menstrual cup and felt confident enough with that to stop wearing liners then I had no more issues :)

I somehow got a UTI during my period last November that got out of hand because I thought it was just my period. Still haven't figured out what kicked it off as I hadn't had one in years and certainly not with my period. I'm so afraid of it happening again that I drink water constantly and pee a lot.
