To Excise Or Not To Excise. That Is The Question.
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I have stage four endo and all of my lower organs are stuck together. A hysterectomy was recommended, but I don't really want to go that route yet. Now I am considering excision surgery and have heard both good and bad things about it. I think it will help, at least a little, but I'm still looking for advice.

Thank you. This is actually my second opinion and she suggested to excision. I just hate the idea of surgery in general. πŸ˜•

Definitely get second, third etc opinions. Everyone's body is different. Undergoing any type of surgery is a lot on one's body, I can attest that myself. If you don't want to have a hysterectomy, I would let a doctor go in and clean up as much endo as possible.
