Thank you so much Kim I've been talking to my specialist about the same concerns I.e. bone health.
Hello Isabella, I personally (along with many other people I know who have used Zoladex) had an absolutely awful experience. It has long-term serious side effects, which most doctors don't even advise you on, or say its a "safe" drug.
I would highly recommend following invisibleiconic on Instagram. Alex has podcasts and a lot of information regarding Zoladex on her account/in her highlights.
Sorry, I don't want to frighten you, but its a SERIOUS drug and doesn't actually have any scientific evidence that it works for endometriosis. Yes, it puts you into chemical menopause, which might help the cyclical period pain. However, Endometriosis is not a reproductive disease, its a whole body disease.
Zoladex deteriorated my bones that much that I was considered to have the same level of bone density as someone with severe osteoporosis. I broke my leg (tib and fib) in 4 places, during a small slip in mud, which defintely shouldnt have caused me to break anything! This was 10 years after my Zoladex treatment. Basically it has life long side effects.
I sincerely hope you dont have any side effects, however I would do a lot more research and reach out to Alex on invisibleiconic.
