Post Surgery Weakness In Lower Abdomen.
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I got my laproscopy surgery done for stage 4 endometriosis almost 2 years back but ever since then my lower abdomen has become very weak. Minimum activity also gives pain in lower abdomen, I am unable to have sex or even masturbate. I am unable to stand for even 10 minutes. My lower abdomen feels weak and it pains after that. Is there anyone else who has gone through the same thing? Please let me know if something helped you.

Yes, I have experienced the same pain with muscle spasms. I would recommend you speak with your doctor about what you're experiencing. They may want to refer you to a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic floor therapy. It has been working for me and I'm a lot stronger. Wishing you all the best!
