I had excision, d&c, cystectomy, and bilateral salpingectomy for my stage 3 endo. I had surgery on a Wednesday and unfortunately got my period on the Friday. I needed every pain medication I could get but I had a lot cut out at once. The next one I feared for, but got through with just ibuprofen. Prayers for quick relief.

Hi Monika, I was able to manage with Advil or Aleve, however, I did need lots of rest and heating pads during the first and second periods. I did stay home from work 1 day during the first period because I was so miserable. Each person is different but I would prepare to be able to rest and take care of yourself.
