Sorry you are going through this. I have pretty much the same symptoms as you. I get rectal pain and rectal inflammation and blood in stool. The stabbing rectal pain you experience, I also get and that stabbing pain travels to my lower back. I use a TENS machine on my back. Having bowel movements during my period and after is difficult. I’m not constipated, it’s the inflammation that’s inside the rectum that’s making it difficult to have bowel movement. I had MRI and CT completed. Had oral contrast and contrast inserted into rectum for the imaging and I have endo on my bowels and rectum.

I definitely think it’ll be a good idea to follow up with a doctor about your symptoms and get some imaging done that can help create a clearer picture of what’s going on internally. Don’t stop until you receive the help you deserve. We have to be our own advocates. Wishing you the best.

Yes. I was referred to a colorectal specialist by my gyn. He was a lifesaver at the time. When I had my hysterectomy, he was there, along with my gyn, and ended up doing a lot of surgery on my bowels, intestines and rectum. I had it everywhere come to find out.
