I had a hysterectomy in February. My my painful symptoms disappeared . I have just notice the ammonia smell is back. I am confused! I thought a hysterectomy cured endomitosis?

It does not. Endometrial cells can be invisible so even the most skilled surgeon can miss it.

I’m so sorry to hear that. But unfortunately there is no cure for Endometriosis. A hysterectomy can help lessen the symptoms, but your doctor should have told you it’s not cure.

A hysterectomy is not a cure. Sometimes may lesson your symptoms , depending on individuals. I also had a hysterectomy, absolutely no help to me in anyway.
