I was diagnosed in 2019 with a laparoscopic surgery and biopsy. In 2022 July I was again found with about 4.5 cm cyst pressing my bowel. Old blood! It’s pretty much the only kind I see all the time while on bc
In my experience that kind of spotting is quite normal. Usually the color indicates it's older blood. Periods can also have color variations throughout. Every time I've switched up hormone therapy I've experienced occssional spotting and cycle variations. I mean, I've been on my current regimen for about 5 years and I still experience spotting. Sounds like your body is still adjusting to the hormone switch. Oh, and I love period underwear brands for these kind of times! So sorry about the pain, did you have pain with your periods before visanne? I would reach out to your provider so they know how things are going. And remember, don't ever feel bad for reaching out to your doctor if things aren't feeling right, you know your own body the best after all!
Thanks girls for those reassuring words! Well my pelvic pain and IBS related pain is how I was diagnosed with endometriosis! So it’s pretty normal. Today it’s my 14 th day of cycle and the pain has considerably gone down…. But sometimes it’s overwhelming to constantly have pain and explain that to your family why you can’t do household tasks! Have my appointment in September. Hopefully she will be able to help me manage my pain!
