Im in same position. IVF was denied and pain is still horrible after two surgeries, most recent in February. Now I have fibroids and cysts so not much of a choice anymore but scary to think about and a sad reality. For me at least, it's such a heavy thing to come to terms with.
Endometriosis does not leave us after surgery. It doesn't kill us, but it is debilitating. We need to push, push for research. We need to educate each doctore we see with good information about Endometriosis. Most times we don't understand what we can't see (doctors included) don't let any doctor brush your pain under the rug. It's real, it's painful, and needs to be understood.
I had mine at 27 it doesn't guarantee you to be pain free I'm actually having to travel 4 hrs away to a specialist after my full hysterectomy
