I am diagnosed with (endometriomia) chocolate cyst in Oct 2021. No issues until June 2023 no medicines no changes in periods no pain. I've been taking dienogest for three months now, most of this time I spent spotting. Before the three months mark, the spotting went away and my last period was weak. Currently I'm really happy with dienogest.
So depends how heavy your bleeding is. If you're not bleeding a lot and it doesn't feel like there's a deeper issue, I'd suggest pushing through, my doctor says it usualy stabilises after a few months. Also, make sure to take it dilligently and at the same time. I skipped a day by accident once and it made my period come early and worsened the spotting
