I’m worried because every ultrasound I’ve gotten doesn’t point to any lesions but my PT and endometriosis specialist have noted that my left side of my uterus is very tight which is where I experience the most symptoms and pain and they recommended surgery
I was told that it won't show up on a scan. They will have to do the surgery to confirm. But one thing that I figured out, is that's not completely true. A year before I was actually diagnosed, I would hear doctors say there were some abnormalities. But would never go further than that. Then it grew severely which showed up on a scan and I was told that they didn't understand how they didn't see it before. Because they wrote on my chart there were these abnormalities & it was visible then. So, now I know to probe these physicians because sometimes it feels like they will wait until it gets that severe to actually act on it.
I had two or 3 ultra sounds and a CT scan and know one saw anything till I had a laparoscopy. Then my doctor saw EVERYTHING . Evidently gas in my bowels was covering it up
Absolutely. I looked perfectly normal on every type of scan.
