Bruising After Surgery
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Anyone else get significant bruising around their incision. The first couple days I didn't notice anything but come this morning the skin is yellowish green all around the incision

It all depends on the person. I bruise real easily and heal very slowly than normal. So even when having an intramuscular injection I look like I've been kicked by a donkey!

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member currently I don't plan on doing pelvic floor therapy I may discuss it with my Dr in the future. I'm feeling pretty good today I took a walk earlier and am cooking dinner for me and my friend. Thanks for asking 😊 hope you are feeling good as well

Hi Jordan,
Yes, it's normal for a little bruising it should go away after a few days or so. How are you feeling? Also, will be you be doing pelvic floor therapy? Sending you healing vibes 🤗

I had a lot of bruising around my incisions.

Is there redness or heat? If so, please call your surgeon. Or if you are concerned now, call the office and ask. It cannot hurt to ask.😍
