1. Suicidal ideations.

Sometimes the pain is so intense I just want to be taken out of it. Last night I hardly got any sleep because every time I got comfortable a violent contraction was ripping through my legs, my back, my stomach, my uterus, the space right under my rib cage…it’s so intense. I can’t even have anybody talking to me or touching me. Literally screaming. And nobody really believes you because they can’t physically see a “reason” for your pain. It wasn’t until 2020 when I had emergency surgery the day before my birthday that I had proof to everyone in my life that I wasn’t just being “dramatic”. I have been in a state of chronic pain and emphatically trying to get other people to understand since I was 10. It literally makes me not want to be here some days. Last night was ROUGH.

2. Pain with eating
There is scar tissue all over the place inside of me because of the endo. It makes eating uncomfortable because as I get full it starts to cause this piercing pain where my cramps usually are. If you ever see me finish a plate of food, just know I exchanged my hunger headache for abdominal cramps that will exist until the food expels itself. On a daily basis I eat MAYBE twice. I don’t feel like I’m living any productive quality of life the week before or during my period because all the progress I’ve done the other weeks is diminished because I can’t eat those two weeks.

3. The different levels and types of pain
The physical is intense, but the emotional and mental and social struggles you have when you’re battling endo really can be a lot to handle alone.

Edit: I do love a happy, loving life and I love being in it. I just wish it was without endo!

Connections of other coinciding health issues such as IBS, fatigue, depression, migraines, and GI issues. Also, when I have Endo cramps my legs go numb.

Back pain. I’ve always been asked by doctors if I get lower back pain and that it was a common symptom. I didn’t start experiencing it till this last year. It gets better when I stay on top of stretching but it doesn’t stop it completely.

Nausea, depression, and pretty much everything else everyone has already mention. I have digestion problems at times, but my gallbladder is also gone. However, I had digestive problems before then. Having endometriosis takes a toll of me mentally, emotionally and physically.
