How Common Is Endometriosis In And Kidneys?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm wondering bc I have had blood in all my urine tests the past like decade and always just thought it was my kidney stones but now I not sure..have a uteroscopy in a few weeks to check inside. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

Hi TanyaRhea, this reply is for the question about kidney pain. I haven't experienced that but I recently learned from being in hospital that a UTI can cause pain in the kidneys. The infection doesn't even have to spread to the urinary tract. Has your doctor checked for that? I apologize if this is totally unhelpful.

I've had microscopic hematuria for about 25 years. I had many urine tests, invasive and non-invasive over the years. I was told by several ob-gyns that it's "just a thing that sometimes occurs in the blasder" for an unknown reason. Perhaps this is your case as well. It's not harmful if there is no pain with urination and it's not visible to the naked eye. Hope this helps! 🤗

I don't have any infection. I've actually never had a UTI before. Just always blood in the urine and chronic kidney stones and now this constant kidney pain so this next Monday is my uteroscopy so hope to find some answers!
