I’ve had chest pain most of my adult life that comes and goes, I only mentioned it once to my doctor at the time, he told me it wasn’t possible to feel pain like I described. Hi, I'm very sorry for your struggle. Yes it is absolutely possible to not see thoracic endo on chest x-ray, endometriosis actually can't be spotted on chest x-rays, and it's very hard to spot on CT or MRI.

Just an update, I saw an internist and did a stress test there to confirm there’s nothing wrong with my heart. He was very kind but dismissive with the idea that my chest pain would be caused by thoracic endo. He just said it’s very rare. He said sometimes abdominal pain can be reflected into the thoracic area. There’s no further plans for diagnostic tests.
