Do you still experience pelvic pain after hysterectomy or fallopian tubes tied?

First of all, I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this, it is such a difficult disabling disease and condition.
I had a hysterectomy with my ovaries left in for my stage 4 endometriosis a little over a year ago. The pain is slightly better but I do need my ovaries out.
It is nice not having menstrual cycle every month and dealing with the bleeding and pain but I have noticed I still get flare ups and super nauseated around that time of the month even when I don’t have it. I do recommend getting rid of all your parts but it is NOT a cure ( as there is no cure for endometriosis ) for endometriosis. it does help with the pain tho . When they took out my uterus ( mining I am only 32 without children, I do have furbabies 😂) I also had adenomyosis which is endometriosis evil twin . In my opinion if your for sure you don’t want anymore kids or don’t even want kids ( like me I can’t even take care of myself with my endo it’s left me crippled and I can always adopt if I choose to) I’d recommend getting a hysterectomy. Helps allot with pain but also reminder it is NOT a cure

Sorry to hear. But neither of those are options to stop.endo. practically almost nothing can stop it. I had a hysterectomy years ago, went through numerous surgeries and procedures after that. It has now damaged my bladder so i recently had a spinal sacral modulation implant which helps tremendously. The fact is we can do what we need to in order to stay healthy, mange it the best way we can. I hope you feel better and stay strong. 💫

Neither of these options will stop Endo from growing unfortunately. Hysterectomy often causes new problems.
