Hysterecetomy is alone not curative in deep endometriosis if there is still deep endometriosis in lower abdomen, pelvis. So, you need an evaluation for deep endometriosis if your pain still continues. If they detect deep endometriosis, only an endometriosis surgeon can perform your laparoscopic surgery.

I had one in 2018 and still have a “period” every month and the pain is back again. Doctors said I have residual endometrial cells in my cervix lining. That still causes a flareup every month and this is what causes the bleeding as far as for the pain, The only thing that I noticed that works is a gluten-free diet.

Had hysterectomy in 2017, still have bad pains every now and then. Went to see a specialist in TN and he looked me dead in my eyes and said, "Well, if endo IS back, there is nothing I can do about it." So, now I am back at square 1 again. No doctor will help me and I have good insurance now. I don't know what to do!
