Hi i was put on the contraception pill called Cerelle because my periods were so heavy with clotting and very frequent and causing me to be very aneamic and have blood transfusion and i don't get periods now just pain . You take it everyday with no break might be worth asking doctor about it .

Hi Thereasa sorry to hear you still have pains .I'm currently taking Desogestrel as well.I was hoping it would get rid of the pain even though its not so bad its that awful dragging feeling and the pain is always on the side I had my two laparoscopys I know I have bands of scar tissue as I've had to have a colonoscopy and CT scan in the past I was tested for Crohns which thankfully I don't have I guess I will keep taking this pill as i have been offered the Mirena coil I just don't like the sound of the side effects some women have with it.
