Yes he was my primary Surgeon. They will ask you if you have a preference. Most of my contact has been with Dr Chu outside of the week of surgery. And he personally responded to my initial inquiry which was nice.

I’m happy to hear you’re doing well post op. I agree, Dr Seckin, is one of the top 5 specialists for DIE. Did he join Dr Chu for the actual surgery? I read in another blog that he takes a less active role in the surgery itself these days due to his age.

I can’t speak to long term success because I just had surgery 3 months ago but I went to Dr Seckin in NYC, his reputation is unmatched in the research I have done. He specializes in Deep Excision Surgery and does a lot of research for Endo including the foundation EndoFound. I read his book “The Dr will See you now” it was really good and ultimately lead to me having him and Dr Chu do my surgery.
