It has stopped my periods too, Dr just say not to rely on it as a contraceptive. It’s a small chance, but enough they have to warn you. But if you’re ok with the remote chance of getting pregnant then you’re fine to go without alternative methods.

Well I'm just on Visanne, not taking anything else. And my periods have stopped. It been two months without periods now..... I guess what could that be.

It’s only rated as a contraceptive if it’s in combination with an estrogen. On its own it doesn’t always stop ovulation so it isn’t reliable as a contraceptive.

Yah I don't know how is it actually like that? I mean if it stops your pwriods, means it's stopping you ovulation process... which means ITS A CONTRACEPTIVE!!!
