First, thank you for being a reliable community when doctors and my care team neglecting me. I appreciate and love you all. I had an excision surgery last April and was diagnosed with stage 2, and after that I have been on Orilissa and now progesterone. The pain is getting intense after stoppingthe orilissa but I cant continue on the meds because of liver problems. Is the next step another surgery, does anyone have personal experience with this of what they did? My doctors are continuing to push… read more

IUD did not work for me it made things worse.. I’m stage 4 endo had emergency surgery then lap surgery in July.. things were better then started getting bad again.. I didn’t want a hysterectomy so I agreed to try the IUD & ughh I hated it ..gave it 3months & just got it out recently also made me gain at 25lbs on top of other weight gain from hormones being messes up. endo really sucks 😩🥺

Hi Hannah sorry to hear your doctors are being rubbish!! If I were you I’d push for another surgery/ at least an internal scan so you can check what’s going on/ how things may be progressing again. I had surgery last year too. With stage 4 endo. I then went onto injectable menopause for a while. I recently had another scan and all my endo has already come back and worse. All my organs are stuck together (ovaries uterus bowel) with multiple endometriomas already back after being drained. I’m now back on list for another surgery. So you really should push to be looked at again incase you’re in the same position with it aggressively coming back like that. I wouldn’t recommend a coil. It made my life hell.. lots of love 🥰 xxx
