She and my surgeon want me to get CT scans every 3 months, the PET scan is new, as they want to have a more detailed look and depending on the results may want a biopsy to confirm it’s not something more…they are 4 Endometriosis spots on my liver, one of which is growing in size. I had no symptoms for 4 years after my Hysterectomy, and it came back in September. Only paying copayments

Ive had a PET scan. Im not sure why hou would need a scan every 3 months? Do they know for definite that its Endo? You only tend to have regular scans if they are monitoring something?Are you paying for these scans?

My surgeon and OB recommended the PET scan to get more detailed results and possibly a biopsy to confirm it’s not more than just the Endo. In September I had 3 locations on my Liver, now there’s 4, and ones larger, so they’re just wanting to be sure.

Why do u have to get one

If you dont mind me asking, why do you need it? What were the prior findings?
