I think it's different for everyone, but speaking from my own experience, I was on Visanne for 1,5 years and had no periods but just recently went off it, of own decision. It took me 2 days and then I got my period back, which is a bit weird because reading through other ppl's experiences it took 2-6 months before their periods were back, so again, it's different for everyone. Mine is still not regular though, and the cycle is more frequent. I get mine on average every 20 days or so. But I'm happier off Visanne, have more energy.
