I have surgery for my endometriosis in my chest and on my diaphragm coming up in the next few months. I’ve looked all over the internet and haven’t found much in terms of what to expect after the surgery. Has anyone had thoracic surgery and have any advice for me?

I am going for a chest CT next week but they found the thoracic endo while doing my initial laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. I’ll let you know if it shows up on the chest CT but the nurse practitioner said it doesn’t normally show anything besides lung nodules if there are any.

Sending positivity and prayers your way. Your case maybe unique and that is probably why you can't find anything with research. I had stage 4 endometriosis, and it caused my colon to be stuck to my uterus.I have had complication since my surgery jan.2023 but can't find anything due to the uniqueness of it. I hope it relieves pain for you after your surgery <3

Did the thoracic endo show up on x-ray or CT scan? I have reoccurring chest and shoulder pain and pelvic endometriosis confirmed by surgery so I had scans last year but nothing showed up.
