We would like to start a family.
I had a laparoscopic procedure done in 2018 and started using Visanne in 2019. I’ve been using the pill ever since.
After getting a full check up by my gynaecologist last month, he advised that I may stop taking visanne once we are ready to start a family.
Before we attempt to conceive, should I wait until I receive my period?
What is the endo count in blood?

Yes I had the TransV ultrasound every year to check and also had blood tests for the Endo count in my blood.
What happens if you don’t receive your period within 4-6 weeks after stopping visanne? Should you still wait until you get the period before you can be fertile?
Hi! I'm told we can try after stopping 4 to 6 weeks off visanne. So I think we should have our monthly period back first before we try to conceive. I've been off visanne 4 months now with only on diet and supplements. May I ask after your lap surgery do you still have routine transv ultrasound to Check for new endo?
