Im curious how many endo baddies have pain during s*x? For me, after my hysterectomy the pain is in a certain spot and when it get "hit", so to speak, it will be blinding pain with cramping for days. Help a girl out. I was pushing through pain for years but after marrying i am more comfortable saying i need to stop. Its so complicated i just want to know where i stand in this mix. Much love 🥰

Members opened up about experiencing painful intercourse with endometriosis, sharing that the pain often stems from adhesions, retroverted uterus positions, pelvic floor muscle spasms, and direct contact with tender areas during flares. Several members offered practical strategies that have helped them, including pelvic floor physical therapy to address muscle tension and uterine positioning, using positions that allow more control or frequent position changes, trying external stimulation, and incorporating products like hemp-based suppositories, prescription pain medications, extra lubrication, and supportive pillows. A recurring theme was the importance of preparation, open communication with partners, going slowly, learning tension-release techniques through breathing and gentle pressure, and giving yourself permission to stop when needed without guilt.

I forgot to mention that there are products that can help. There's hemp vaginal suppositories, and hemp lube. They help reduce the pain. I used to use the pain suppositories from Foria, and they have lube too. There's also vaginal suppositories that are a prescription pain med, which I recommend asking your doc about.

It is very painful for us. Change positions and add body pillows under you. I would look online they have a few positions to try not many but have hin slow down when you start to hurt. Try lubricant jelly too...

Is it easier to do external stuff?

I had pain before my hysterectomy. Turns out I had a giant 9cm chocolate cyst 🥴. I found that being on top helped because I have more control. I also got these "bumpers", they're called ONut from the thepelvicpeople.com but I haven't actually gotten to use them. I've been recovering from surgery and it's been rough.
