Fatigue And Dissociation?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else get so exhausted that they feel disconnected from themselves? Lately I'm feeling like things that happen are almost like dreams, and I'm walking around in a state where I feel like I'm just disconnected from myself and from other things. I know that it's also a symptom of my c-ptsd, but I wondered if it's also just the endo brain fog that's making me feel this way? Thanks for reading, guys.

Pain Therpy
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm just wondering what other woman use for pain. The only thing I have found that works is marijuana. If its in pill form , I have to almost overdose just for it to help. Some people don't think its medicine (my family) but I was miserable before I started. (Btw I live in Colorado in case anyone was wondering)

Also, Flexerill helps some too because when you are in pain, you tense up which causes muscle spasms which is a lot of the pain you're having, more than likely. My advice, coming from someone who has… read more

Abdominal Wall Endo
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I moved to Greece one year ago and the healthcare is not as good as in the states. My doctors can't awnser my questions because they have never had a case of abdominal wall endo caused by a c-section. I had a growth in my abdomen causing severe pain before and during my period so I had is surgically removed. After removal they did a biopsy and determined it was Endometriosis. My doctor advised me that a follow up appt. wasnt necessary. I had to pick up my biopsy results from the lab and the lab… read more

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member I had an opportunity to read your blog and I am happy that I did. The reoccurrence rate is low and I am hoping that my doctor was skilled enough to remove it all but the… read more

I was wondering if anyone can give me advise
My surgery will be a 4 hr drive. Can you think of anything I should have with me since I will be far away from home
What kind of food or drink should I have since it is a long drive home or do you think I will even feel like eating?
I'm wondering how I am going to get to the bathroom with that long of drive. Do you think I will be able to walk into a place by myself?. This will be like 24 hrs after the surgery.

Sex Life And Physical Relationship
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I can count on one hand the times that me and my boyfriend have had sex in the last year- sad I know
I just had excision surgery back in May and of course I'm terrified of getting back on the horse... seemed like an appropriate analogy. We have tried once since my surgery after waiting long enough and it still hurt but at the time I wasn't on any type of birth control so we had to use a condom and my fun parts have never agreed with most types. I'm thinking that was the main problem (more like… read more

Sciatica Endo Exercises?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi

What exercises are best for ladies who have s type endo? I have already tried light stretches at home and go on short timed walks too. Considering taking up yoga as well. My main issue is bilateral clubbed feet which is made worse by the endo unfortunately so walking is possible yet it takes me a long time. Any tips and advice is appreciated greatly.

Pain Medicine
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am thinking about asking my doctor for pain meds. Has anyone did this? How hard is it to live on the pain pills? Side effects, and what about getting addicted?

Omg so sorry I meant to post this on another question about how Endo impacts sex drive. I am SO sorry and embarrassed!

Painful Sex
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I know a lot of us have pain before, during and after intercourse. My husband and I want to try to start a family the "traditional" way first, but how do you make yourself available, without "faking" interest/enjoyment? Matt feels like he's being a monster when he's in the mood and I'm in pain, but as far as I know, we both still need to be involved if trying for a babe, and I refuse to give up that intimacy with him.
