Hi, I had a diagnosis laparoscopy on Tuesday 13th November but I’m fed up of being sore already, how long would you say it takes to recover. I’m so paranoid about blood clots etc so I have been moving about as much as I can and drinking plenty of fluids just wondered what everyone else’s recovery time was?
I recently had my pap smear/pap test done. My doctor noticed that I had bleeding along my cervix and that skin seemed sensitive/irritaed. I also had her check the strings to my IUD (Mirena- my current treatment for endometriosis) and she said they were in the perfect position.
After completing the pap smear, she informed me that I may have to have my cervix cauterized?? I do experience bleeding after intercourse once in a while. I was wondering if any has ever had… read more
Hello, ive had an excision surgery done on tuesday (November 13th, 2018) for stage III endo. Im wondering how long people were pain free from the disease afterwards. Idk why but sincr before the surgery i thought once its done it would be over forever but now the reality of it all is starting to settle. So please let me know how long after your surgery did endo come back and if not, what extra little things did you do to help your body stay relatively pain free? Thank you xox
Has anyone had abnormal uterine bleeding that varies in flow? I could be fine the whole day with just some spotting sometimes then at night I have a heavy flow soaking through my panties or sometimes it can be heavy the whole day or light the whole day. I also keep getting reoccurring BV infections . My doctor can’t seem to find a cause for my bleeding since I have no fibroids , cysts or endometriomas. I had a d&c a few months ago that helped me for a few weeks but then I was back… read more
Curious to hear about other experiences with pelvic floor pt!
Did it help your pain, symptoms, even at all? and how so?
Did you find that after a session you are in pain for a day or 2?
- I expect the soreness that arrives post internal work, but if my uterus also aches more after is that a red flag it isn’t helping?
I have gone only 4 times so far but am still unsure how to tell if its doing something.
I recently had to quit my job due to the heavy bleeding and pain I suffer from endo. It was becoming too hard to miss work every month. I feel terrible that people might get the impression that I’m lazy or I’m over reacting. My husband is very supportive... thank God. Am I alone? or has anyone gone or is going through this? Thank you ladies!
Has anyone experienced Gastritis with Endometriosis. I have had 2 surgeries in the past for moderate-severe endo. My first surgery was done my a general surgeon (not a specialist) as I had so much pain and found walking hard. They cut out a rugby ball size cyst. Id always had a pot belly.
2nd surgery at 21, it was all over the show but no big growths that could be identified on any scan. I am now 34, Ive had 2 kids, yay. But before the kids I noticed I was having times of extreme… read more
Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to deal with the side effect of birth control. i have been place on several different types of pill ( both combine and progesterone only), to help with suspected endometriosis. I’ve had the contraceptive implant on and off for the last 6years so my periods have always been irregular. I can go months with not having a period and then have some light spotting lasting a few days. Last month I had my normal spotting but this month I started spotting again but after one day of spotting it’s changed to black and sometimes clots. This has been going on for 9days now. Could it be down to endo (was diagnosed in 2011) or just my body having a period clear… read more
