Yes was on it for 6 months and it changed my life. Lots of HOT FLASHES but it really does work. I had to get on it after my 2nd surgery to remove a ruptured cyst from my ovary. 2 months after I stopped the therapy I got pregnant with my 2nd child!

I am sorry to hear that everyone had such a bad experience. It worked miracles for me. Yes it was a tough 6 months but my dr is amazing and she promised me it would help heal me and it did and I got pregnant 2 months after. I guess it is just different for everyone! Hope you all can find some relief in other ways!

Yeah, Lupron was terrible for me, too. From what I understood when I started taking it, the way it worked was that it brought out all of your symptoms and then stopped the endometriosis and stopped the symptoms. With me, it brought out all of the symptoms and never stopped them. I had my period and all of it its awfulness for about six weeks. Plus, at the time, I had an endometriosis nodule in my belly button so I started bleeding from my belly button at a rapid rate. I was bleeding from my belly button, bleeding from my nose, and bed rested with my period when I was not at work on the bathroom floor kneeled over in pain. It was probably the worst six weeks of my life.

Lupron was the worst thing i have ever done!! I had many side effects insomnia (and still do), hot flashes, my hair started to fall out (and it still does!) My heart would race, felt like i was having a heart attack even called 911 they tried to tell me i was having a panic attack! I did the 3 month shot and it took about 4 months to get out of my system. I feel like this Drug had something to do with my premature ovarian failure. I had very little pain relief and all the other symptoms made me miserable! Please do lots of research before taking this Drug!

Thank you so much ladies. I really really value your first-hand insight. It's one thing for the doctor to tell you about pros and cons, it's different to hear it from people who have actually used it. I haven't made a decision yet about doing it or not...I feel like I need to do some more research but I have spoken to a specialist about an excision surgery rather than doing another surgery where they laser the endo. It feels like there is always some major choice to make with my health! I would love to have a little break from it all haha.
