I am getting ready for my first meeting with my doctor about starting on our baby journey. I actually found out that I had endo while I was pregnant, and the doctor discovered a huge ovarian cyst on my first ultrasound, that needed to be removed while I was pregnant because of fear of ruptrure and miscariage later in pregnancy. They found out I had stage 3 endo then. I had a normal delivery. I am trying for number 2 now, but it is taking too long. I think knowing that I have endo and knowing that I may not be able to concieve is stressing me out and really diminishing our chances of gettingpregnant. IVF is very dangerous for us because stimulates estrogen production which is what makes endo worse. Good luck to you!!
In the midst of our fertility journey with endo tagging along. I am Stage 2 and just had excision surgery after a rotten time with Femara and Clomid and 4 failed rounds of IUI (MenopurNovarel/progesterone). Post surgery, our doc recommended we wait 3-4 months before diving into IVF, as he thought the success of the surgery may have fixed our issues and let us conceive naturally. This was the first truly "hopeful" thing we'd heard in years.
We've pushed IVF to the fall. We are hopeful that we won't need it, but even if we do, we (and our docs) are more confident in our chances of it "sticking."
