Hello I am a 33 year old who had a laparoscopy done in October and now am trying to get pregnant. Any advice would be great!

When I had the laparoscopy done they were able to remove the scar tissue and said it was stage 3. They did run a test and said both my tubes were functioning great. Just having trouble convincing now and would love any tips or advice that anyone has about their journey with endometriosis and infertility.

Hey, I also just had the surgery a few days ago, I do feel a lot better but now just wondering what that means for my chances of pregnancy, I have got stage 4 endo and my organs have started attaching themselves together. So confused and shattered.

I totally feel you on this. The whole endo and fertility journey can be such an emotional rollercoaster. It’s really nice to hear your tubes are working well though, that must have been a bit reassuring after surgery! Hoping things start moving in the right direction for you soon. Stage 3 is honestly a lot to take in. I remember when I finally got my diagnosis I had this weird mix of feelings… like relief that there was finally an explanation but also a lot of confusion about what it meant for getting pregnant. My tubes were fine too and doctors kept saying things looked good, but I still struggled for a while which was really frustrating. Later we figured out I had silent endometriosis after a few failed embryo transfers so the whole thing felt like a big confusing puzzle for a long time. This journey can be really unpredictable and everyone’s story ends up looking a bit different. How long ago was your laparoscopy? Timing matters: Laparoscopic removal of endometrial tissue has been shown to boost conception chances significantly. Studies show individuals with stage 3 endometriosis saw their fertility rate increase from 2.4 percent to 30.7 percent within 36 weeks after the procedure.

Work with specialists: Consider consulting with a fertility specialist who can work alongside your gynecologist. They can help you get pregnant as quickly as possible, which is important because endometriosis symptoms may return over time.

Fertility treatments: If conceiving naturally continues to be challenging, options like intrauterine insemination or IVF may help.
