Dr is planning to remove cyst on my only good ovary. It is small 1.5cm. I'm worried about losing ovarian reserve. I get my day 3 labs done tomorrow to see where my reserve is at.
Anyone get pregnant successfully after cyst removal?
Thanks!!'

Hi I know this was an older post but I'm new so here goes. I had big choc cysts on both ovaries and multiple ruptures adhesions and terrible pain etc I had the cysts removed and lasered some of the adhesions. My tubes where clear when they did a dye test. We conceived 7mths after my surgery. We had been actively trying for 5 months giving time to heal and the medication to leave my system. Hope this gives some comfort. It was an awful time but we got there

I have had my choc. Cyst since 2012 and am planning to do the same this fall with Dr. Sinervo in Atlanta. The pain has just kept building all this time.

Thank
You Tricia!
My right ovary is my good side so I'm a bit worried about it. I'll meet with the Endo specialist in August so I'll find out more. I'm completely overwhelmed about this surgery and what they'll find/repair/remove.

That is understandable. Best wishes on getting pregnant. It is possible even with one ovary and after having a cyst removed. My Landlord 14 years ago did and had a son. Keep your head up and keep us posted.

Since I haven't been
On medication I've been in pain, most severe around a period.
I've had the cyst since 2011. The Dr said its disease so the Endo specialist will want it removed. I'm planning to freeze eggs...
