Can Birth Control pills become less effective over time/allowing Endo symptoms to return??

I am on Junel Fe been on it for almost 2 years and I recently had a 4 cm cyst rupture causing me to be in bed for a week. I also have been having random bleeding last few months and cramping (It is really getting old). I am on continuous packs as the Dr. does not want me to have cycles. Is it possible that the pills are no longer strong enough to deal with it? Well as far as effectiveness I got pregnant on the patch in 2005 before I had a venous thrombosis you be the judge. I personally hate birth control.

I was on Junel fe for quite some time and I still had constant bleeding even though I took it continuously. I don't know if it's because it's such a low dose hormone that it doesn't fully work but after my insurance wouldn't pay for the brand name they switched to generic and I had horrible horrible side effects. I would just talk to your doctor and see if you can get switched to something different.
