I am on Junel Fe been on it for almost 2 years and I recently had a 4 cm cyst rupture causing me to be in bed for a week. I also have been having random bleeding last few months and cramping (It is really getting old). I am on continuous packs as the Dr. does not want me to have cycles. Well as far as effectiveness I got pregnant on the patch in 2005 before I had a venous thrombosis you be the judge. I personally hate birth control.

I was on Junel fe for quite some time and I still had constant bleeding even though I took it continuously. I don't know if it's because it's such a low dose hormone that it doesn't fully work but after my insurance wouldn't pay for the brand name they switched to generic and I had horrible horrible side effects. I would just talk to your doctor and see if you can get switched to something different.
