So I have been on Depo for like 4-5 years now. It is the only thing that has actually worked. I have tried BC pills but nothing has worked like the shot. I do have bad days/weeks though. My doctor wants me to think about switched the implant one, the one that goes in your arm. I'm just afraid that if I try it, it won't work like the Depo has been. Anyone have any input?!
There's Depo Lupron and Depo Provera. Lupron is looked at as Satan amongst the top experts. Depo Provera? Fine...it likes bone density too much, so you'd need to add in extra calcium. Nexplanon, that goes in the arm is amazing. This is my third rod. Absolutely love it. I love not having cycles. Not bleeding. I like knowing that if it was removed now, I could theoretically become pregnant on my next cycle. The rods last 3 years otherwise and can be replaced with another.
I did the depo for like a year or so then I found out I have Endo.. So I was taken off of it and put on the lupron. After that I tried the depo again and I couldn't. It made me worse pain wise.. So I stopped all BC. I never go pregnant. When I got a new Dr this year I had my second surgery this past june she put me on the pill. I couldn't do it. Made me sick. She put me on another pill called Nora-Be so far so good for me. This would be my 4th BC I've been on
