@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member.. so you would highly rec the CEC? did you have to travel far ? I live in NC so its not awful far but still a drive. Did you consutl with anyone else before you did him?? did you do the record review first? I am working on that piece now.
Good luck!! ♡
I had it in for...around 5 months. I got it removed when it had begun causing me to be so depressed and moody that it was ruining my relationship and making me hate myself. It was also causing me additional lower back pain, uterine "fluttering" and cramping, and it gave me an additional cyst on my right ovary that was larger than my endometrioma. The formation of that cyst landed me in the ER from the pain and I HATE going there...it was really severe. I wish it had worked out for me.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member it's for very suspicious reasons removed from the labels/pamphlets for Mirena in the USA, but Mirena should NOT BE given to anyone with a history of depression. It's still mentioned in the medication info in a few other countries, like Canada.
@Elenam worried mine will effect my mood in the long run. I have suffered from depression because of endometriosis and my past relationship. I just got my Mirena inserted.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member..thanks..good to know..I am starting this process now and also feel led by God to do this. I had another consult set up in CLT next month but I think that's a waste of.time..
