I had laparoscopic surgery to have endo removed Sep 17. I am on birth control pills that only make me have a period every 3 months. I was on this before the surgery and am still taking it. I have been spotting for 2 weeks now. And am only in the second month of this cycle of pills. I've also been having cramps and usually more painful intercourse. Anyone had abnormal bleeding a month out from endo surgery?
After both my surgeries I felt better (the cramping wasn't as severe as it had been before, that kinda stuff) but it took about 6-8 weeks for my body to feel normal again. No random spotting or weird cramping that I didn't have before.

I just had my surgery this past friday so i haven't even thought of sex but my dr did say that surgery puts your body in shock and may have random bleeding /cramping. . Everyone is different but i have spotted off and on ever since
He told me it takes a while to heal internally and if sex hurts just don't do it right then. He also told me some of my pain could be from interstitial cystitis and adenomyosis (as well as my tilted uterus).
I don't think so but who knows. And what did your doc say about it?
It could be that it was more penetrative this time..? It's still pretty soon after surgery. I would call my doc. That's what I did when sex was painful for me after surgery.
