Did You Know The Surgeon You Choose To Remove Your Endo Matters?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Endo needs to be removed deep and wide by the excision technique. Not every OBGYN knows how. When it's done correctly the Endo has a very small chance of returning. Call one of these Surgeons and take care of yourself. If it's not possible to see one of these surgeons, still call and they can recommend a quality surgeon near you , who can give you good care.

Hi, you need a referral from your GP to a Endo Clinic where they specialize in treating Endo. I live in London and was referred to a Endo Clinic at UCLH; absolutely amazing doctors and top excision surgeons there. There are several Endo clinics throughout the UK so your GP can refer you to one in your area.

Hi I am in London and about to go to GP for a re referal to a specialist. Did they help you with pain relief?
I am on Mefanamic acid combined with paracetamol. This month it didnt touch the pain, legs were giving way underneath me and I was at the point of collapse on two of the days. Which Dr are you seeing? Were you waiting long for your first apnt? Thanks
