Do it!!! I wish I had. I wish when I was finally diagnosed in 2006 that my doctor said freez your eggs now. I did do IVF last year. So basically you have to do the first part of IVF. I'm not going to lie...the after math of the egg retrieval is awful. I was in so much pain for two weeks. But it was SO worth it!

I think it's worth talking to a fertility specialist about. However, freezing your eggs is still a very new process (the current method started in 2012). Most people that have been pregnant from these procedures have used frozen embryos which has a much higher success rate of surviving the thawing process and the implantation than frozen eggs. To date only about 5,000 women have had live babies from frozen eggs. So, while I do think it's worth exploring there isn't a lot of data yet on success rates. My doctor told me that embryos are much better. But since I'm single I don't really have anyone that i want to fertilize my eggs. I decided not to do it because in the end there is still no guarantee that it will work and it's quite expensive. I was quoted $12,000 for one round. Good luck!

I would see an excision specialist first. I only know 1 person that froze her eggs and it made her endo symptoms 1,000 times worse.
