Does anyone who is on Lupron get serious bone/muscle pain? Not sure if it's just bone pain or muscle pain that accompanies it. I'm in so much pain right now.

Members overwhelmingly confirmed that severe bone and muscle pain is a common side effect of Lupron injections, with many describing deep, achy discomfort in the hips, legs, arms, and back that can be difficult to distinguish as bone versus muscle pain. Several members shared additional side effects they experienced, including nausea, headaches, fatigue, cognitive fog (often called Lupron brain), ongoing cramping even after stopping periods, and concerns about bone density loss, with one member recommending the poster ask their doctor about norethindrone acetate to help protect against bone loss. A recurring theme was that many members either stopped Lupron early or refused to continue due to the severity and persistence of side effects, with some reporting lasting impacts years after discontinuing the medication.

I have gotten some pains, but I also do a lot of physical work at my job. My arms, legs, back, feet, etc hurt every night. I had my last shot almost a month ago now, and I still have my body aches. So it's hard to tell. I do, however, still get cramping and sharp "period" pains even though I haven't had it for months.

does your doctor have you on norethindrone acetate in addition to the Lupron? i know Lupron can impact the bones after a certain amount of time on the drug (6 months i think) and that this is prescribed to counteract that nasty side effect of bone loss. best to follow up with your doctor a.s.a.p.
