The pain is horrible now. They diagnosed me with pcos and pelvic congestion as well. I'm on a low dose birth control and a progesterone capsule and am still breastfeeding my one year old. I feel like I'm about to start my period every week and it lasts for about 3 days. Then I'll have sharp shooting pain around my right ovary.

Sadly excision is not a cureall for endo. My ob describes it well bu saying it's like talking the tip off of an iceberg, theres still an unknown underneath.
I have only had one surgery (laparascopy excision)... I thought it would be the answer to my prayers but unfortunately my pain has not gone away and now it's uncomfortable to be intimate with my husband! I don't plan on having another surgery unless my physician tells me it's absolutely necessary.
Well I tell ya I had excision on May 22 of last year and was released back to work a week later but by june 3 I was in the er 2 days in a row because a cyst had grown to the size of a quarter in that short of time so the painful suckers arent so slow to appear all the time. I would ask your ob or pcp for an ultrasound or heck if your copay to an urgent care is the same as an office visit go there, they would preform one due to the location of the pain to rule out appendicitis.
Hi! Thanks for responding! I have had 2 cysts rupture in the last month but after the last one, my doctor said there weren't anymore. Of course that was with the pelvic exam and not an ultrasound so I don't know. I've never had pain like this before with it. It always hurts on the right side and never stops. I just don't know what to do.
