Anyone on them for endometriosis? It's still in testing for this purpose but I've done a lot of reading on letrozole used specifically for treating endometriosis symptoms and it looks really promising.
Interesting! I'm on Femara (letrozole) days 3-7 to try getting pregnant and they said that would help my endo also, but they haven't mentioned it daily in preparation for my IVF. I'll do some research. Isn't it funny that we sometimes know more than Drs? My IVF Dr was stunned when I mentioned adding letrozole to quiet my endo before my embryo transfer. He's like "oh ya!" 🤔 I had 3 failed IVF cycles with lupron and I refuse to do the same thing.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member I'm pretty sure it is taken daily for this purpose, along with vitamins and supplements so that it doesn't affect bone density. It can also be taken in addition to a progesterone pill instead of the supplements without risk of affecting bones, but I can't be on anything hormonal. It makes me too depressed. So I'm really interested in this possibility
Wow that's incredible. Yeah I'm glad you spoke up!! Keep us updated! Best of luck to you, sounds like a great plan. I will definitely suggest it to my gyno when I enter the endo clinic in my area.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Results on Google would much better explain this than I.
Is the letrozole used everyday or just a few days a month?
