Pain Management After Surgery
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm wondering how soon is it okay to use a heating pad after surgery?

Also, I have 10mg Percocet, but my pain is not going down. It's really bad. It's not the shoulder pain, but my belly button, stomach and vagina area. Any thing help people get the pain manageable after surgery?

When I had surgery I was on Percocet and ibuprofen 800mg. It's ok to use them both together because they are metabolized threw different organs.

I'm a pharmacy student amd most hospitals don't have it in a pill form and when you asked for it there's supposed to not give it to you because it's too strong supposed to be on a constant IV drip and nothing else

PERCOCET is also what they gave me after surgery and I have the same pants for probably two and a half weeks I found it helpful to use a heating pad on my lower back and I started using it right after surgery as far as putting it on my stomach I just was careful that it didn't draw too much moisture to the stitches

Ask for Duladid that'll knock out the pain. Sounds like you need something stronger!
