Hey ladies
Has any of you missed or skipped their periods after surgery? I was supposed to start 3 days ago and there's no sign of it. Is this normal. I had my surgery almost 3 weeks ago.

Yes it's normal, I missed mine also. It takes a few months sometimes for the body to regulate after surgery

Hello Thami
It happened with me after my laparoscopy on the 7th of July and on the 12th I was supposed to start with my periods. I asked my gynae she said because of the procedure done my body could not produce enough lining to shed on the day I was supposed to have my period (12th). It is normal, and also depends on the medication you have started to take after your op. Speak to your gynae to be sure.
