I had a complete hysterectomy in 1980, can endometriosis come back?

I have read that a hysterectomy isn't a cure but I'm not sure about a complete hysterectomy...I just know that a lot of people have mentioned having a hysterectomy and endo recurring. Sorry I'm not more help but I just thought I would answer you with what I do know :)
