Presacral Neurectomy
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

My question being, has anyone had one, how was it for you and what was your recovery like? I'm coming up 22 already had 2 surgeries for Endo, I'm stuck with what my next move is.

I think anything that can reduce your pain even by 10% or 20% is worth it.

Thank you for your reply to my question, I'm stuck for options, my last two laps helped for maybe 6 months to a year tops then back to square one. Argh such a difficult situation.

I've had it at 22 years old. I'm 24 now. Healing took awhile for me compared to just a normal lap. The doctors always ask me if it changed my pain level. I think for a short while it did. Maybe by like 10% over time. I wouldn't say it made everything better or even half better. Wish I had something more positive to say about it for you. If you have more questions I'd be happy to answer to the best of my abilities
