I'm 19 and was just recently diagnosed with endo do to them discovering it during my appendectomy. My gyno scheduled an excision for a week after the official diagnosis, since the photos from my apoendectomy were "very alarming". She doesn't recommend Lupron so I'm wondering what treatments you ladies are receiving... I'm also very nervous for my excision, so if anyone could put my mind at ease that would be lovely. ❤️ Thanks ladies!!

I've had good success with continuous birth control pills. I also watch my diet- low carb, low sugar, very little red meat. Gentle excercise and acupuncture have also helped my pain. I have stage 4 endo. Wish you all the best!

I have stage 4. Have a mirena (IUD) and that didn't help. Just been put on Visanne and started the endo diet, I feel like a new person.... honestly, from not being able to walk and being constantly nauseous because of the pain.... i feel alive!!!

Milk products disagree with me so I rarely eat them. But, I do drink Almond milk and take Vit D and calcium daily. As for the nuvaring, my doctor gave me the same option. Good luck to you!

Birth contorl can work wonders I'm on seasonique I go three months at a time with no period so I only have four a year my ob/gyn put me on this because it helps to slow down the endo from growing and I love it. But if you do get on birth control pay attention to your moods I at first was taking high dose seasonique and I felt depressed all the time and my gyn switched me to the low dose and I felt 100% better so just be aware of that and try to research all your options 🙂

Thank you! I already eat low carb, low sugar and very little red meat... So I'm now trying to also cut cow byproducts. I already don't drink milk because if all the stuff they add to it, so I'm now trying to cut cheese as well... Have you had any experience with that? My doctor suggested to keep replacing my nuvaring instead of removing it for a week so I'm definitely going to try that. Thank you for your advice!
